Pros

Magnetic base is a plus, no need for drilling. Also works well as a fire/police scanner with an adapter. Cable is flexible but not chintzy.

It works perfectly. Communicating with this antenna works great. Works well, was easy to setup.

It seems sturdy and well built enough and better quality than i also anticipated for the price. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. Works fine for cb.

Pl-259 to coax has been made for the last 50 years, at least. Only con is the coax is too short (only 10ft long).

Range is excellent even if it is mounted horizontally inside my bimini cover hidden away. Improved distance and sound clarity. Tx and rx seems to be comparable to the antenna my dad uses.

Cons

Reception and transmission does not work, meter says 2. If you look at the charts, the antenna is terribly out of tune! Poor quality on this antenna. Stock ht antennas perform better in both cases.

I went ahead and gave five stars because for the price you can expect a bad one now and then.

It's a 1/3 of the price for the cheapest option at west marine.

This is an product for the money
