Small antenna works well. Nice long bnc cord. Much improved reception. Also use to listen to cb chatter on long road trips.

Cons

It’s pretty frail. It just feels very very flimsy and light as a feather. The magnet is so pathetically weak that it does nothing.

The antenna was lost on the interstate. Seems like a pretty weak magnet but it held at 55mph. The magnet is so weak you couldn't possibly go more than 20 mph without it blowing off.

Definitely improved my reception above the stock unidentifiable telescoping and rubber duck.

This is a good working antenna, on a digital/analog police scanner.

No improvement on the low band frequencies.

Antenna is 12 inches high and cable is about #22 wire.

Price

This one wasnt expensive, had good reviews,and brings it in stronger and clearer.

Well worth the price to improve a ht performance in a stationary application and get the antenna outside of a building.

But i figured hey for $16 for 2 of them, i figured no big investment.

For the price i would say they are good.

Competitiveness

And for some applications like aircraft band have been beating my more expensive antennas.

I know it's not fair to compare the two but really good value if you need an antenna in a pinch.
