What a nothing burger. Did not improve the performance of the receiver at all. Unless there is a secret i don't know this antenna is worthless.

If you have an older garage door opener unit with a hanging wire as the antenna like mine its a little tricky to attach

Youll need to be a little handy with tools because youll need to attach the center of the connector to the hanging antenna wire and ground the outside if the connector to the opener case

I cut the connector off stripped the cable attached the handing antenna wire to the cables center conductor and the shield braid to the case of the opener using an existing case screw
