Pros

This antenna is well designed. It looks and performs well. They are better on 2m but still get the job done in 70cm. Makes the radios look really compact!

Reception is quite good, so long as there aren't too many obstructions. Transmit efficiency is best in the middle of 430 to 440 band on uhf, but the lowest swr is about 130 mhz in vhf.

Cons

The lowest swr is around 2. Other antennas work fine, not these. The rubber felt cheaper and softer on the bingfu, the length of the antennas is not the same where the nagoya is a few millimeters longer.

The saying you get what you pay for is very true if you scrutinize and dissect these antennas. These are push-on antennas and will not screw on to a scanner.

My primary use is for my icom ic r-30 receiver to replace the telescoping antenna that comes with the unit.

I have to say i am pleasantly surprised.

Repeated (no pun intended) the same test a few days later with the oem antenna attached.

Will update review with transmit quality soon.
