Cons
The antenna displays an antenna fail warning and will not work. There were no instructions on how to mount or put together the antenna mounting bracket. The feedline is nice however the coax easily pulls out of the crimped connector.

I did not use the mount as i installed a vehicle specific no drill mount for my pickup instead

I have had reports of my radio cutting in and out on uhf however i dont know if that is directly attributable to the antenna or if my radio is the problem

The hardware needs a film of wd40 or oil spread on it to keep it from getting a patina of rust on the screws

The radio end is crimped on so if you want to install it through a smaller hole you have to cut it off and install a new end

I was able to send signals as far as 30 miles away

Used on 2m and 70 cm good measured vswr on both bands when mounted on the forward trunk lip pattern not good need to try other positions
