Pros & Cons
Pros
Biofreeze is a non-pharmaceutical to use to treat occipital neuralgia flares. This is the first thing i’ve found to give me relief outside of going to the chiropractor.
I'm so grateful that this product was able to help! Since it's the only brand that seems to work for me and i'm not allergic to i don't concerned about a few cents different in cost.
Cons
The gel form is just *! It's like rubbing green jello or grape jelly on yourself. Feels lumpy.
The active ingredient (menthol) that is shown on the product image is 10%, but the actual product's package lists 4%. Menthol is the only active ingredient. This feels weaker than mineral ice which had 2% menthol.
