Pros
Arizona birkenstocks are no longer just for the crunchy/granola type. The footwear, although emitting a displeasing odor, is perfectly usable for its intended purpose of being footwear. One pair lasts me about 4 years before the soles wears down.
In the birkenstock arizonas i need to wear a 41 narrow, which is supposedly a men's size 8-8. Once properly adjusted,these shoes fit perfectly. I love how they fit my feet, great arch support and wide enough to fit my wide (barney rubble) feet.
The build quality is very good. Other than the color mishap, the shoes are exactly what i wanted and expected. Worth the price. Wonderful shoes.
Cons
White birks are practically sold out everywhere. Synthetic uppers and overpriced. Plastic buckles are also plastic, i live in arizona.
It's not as cushioned as my last 5 pair that i have worn over the past 25 years. Very disappointed with the soft footbed. Maybe not suited for flat-footed people. Tl;dr extremely, unbearably uncomfortable.
