Pros
Wearing a thin sock can help cut that adjustment period. My feet are the happiest they've ever been at home with these amazing birkenstock women's slippers. She wondered (aloud) why they don't have these in men's size/style.

These slippers are a thing of beauty. They look brand new! Mine are charcoal and my daughter's are true red.
Being wool, it's water-repellant/water-proof. The shearling on the insole is so comfortable. I like the shearling as it keeps my feet warm and toasty.
Cons
These are horrible! The slippers are too large. Returning the item.
For nearly $100 you get a felt sock with a flimsy garbage insole. Glued on shearling that mats down to nothing after one month. Now i have an expensive pair of itchy slippers that i cannot wear because the arch is painful.

It feels wonderful and nicely fills in any gaps not supported by the birkie footbed - assuming that the wearer puts it on properly.
Best to stick with the same size that works in the sandals.
I wear a size 9 with the converted size 39 .

Well cared for, like all other birkie's, there's no reason to think these slippers will not last for many years.
They provide the support of birkies with a much thinner and lighter sole.

I wanted warm slippers with a bit of style but most importantly they had to be quiet when i walked across our tile floors early in the morning

I get up before my wife but the soles of my slippers all slippers it seems are hard noisy plastic

The inner sole lining is real fur from new zealand not synthetic

Ive tried other supportive slippers but theyre so heavy and clunky that it just feels like wearing shoes

You could wear them outside but my guess is they wouldnt last long because of the thinner sole

This is the 2nd time ive ordered them and the size said m medium i would think yet they are narrow
