I dont think this had anything to do with the brand as usually very good however this did not work upon arriving and unpacking

The button to turn it on is located in a place that can easily get wet and now it wont turn on

The description said that it was brand new with a damaged box but when it came the press had a broken part that had to be repaired before the unit was functional

Thankfully i was able to make the repair using parts from my old press but definitely not in new condition as advertised

I had problems with the lid also until i figured out you have to line it up right

The lid doesnt fit well to put the pot into the body to let the hot water flow
