Cords spider out to various power strips under the table. It's also easy to plug and unplug cords from the strip. I run my computer items through a ups power unit, for surge protection, and for battery backup.

I would have preferred for the unit to somehow be a single power strip that was created with 12 outlets instead of two separate 6outlet strips

This is because you lose two outlets due to the need to plug each power strip into a power source
