This cable is exactly as advertised. Looks & feels durable. Red color makes it easy to identify in a pile of cables.
House of marley trench town rock over-ear wired headphones work with this cable. Bought this to use with my bose qc 35ii headphone. We use this for a pair of bose headphones and laptop for skype business calls.
Cons
Audio drops off intermittently from one ear to another. Wire is poorly glued to the connector. In my bose quietcomfort 25, the audio in the right ear cuts in/out unless you hold the jack into the ear phone, which does not happen with the stock bose 2.... Read More
The cord looks well made and sturdy until. The cable is much thinner and seems to be made of a different type of plastic (it's shinier). All the return options cost me half the price of the item, so that's pointless.

It doesnt lock but like the akg cable that comes with them but i cant find any replacements that lock
