Edit 1 i called bd simply to voice disappointment with the short life of the trimmer

She asked me to hold and when she returned she advised me that bd was sending a replacement trimmer without the battery because the trimmer was barely out of warranty and in any case should not have failed in this way

The only down side is the small capacity of trimmer line

Wish i could get another battery to keep one charged while the other is being used but there isnt money in the budget for that right now
