Pros

This sander is excellent for touch up smoothing on wallboard patches before painting internal walls in my house. The sandpaper is easy to attach, holds up about as well as can be expected. Only negative point is it's ineffective sanding dust trap.

Black and decker 20 volt max sander is a wonderful addition to my wood working tools. The battery is interchangeable with other b/d products like our cordless blower. The weight isn't bad at all for a cordless.

The only downside is the battery size, i find myself swapping batteries fairly often during a project. It has a little weight (battery) and slightly bulkier than the original electric one.

An excellent detail sander. That's what my * wacker wants.

Cons

It takes more time to charge than the battery lasts. Seemed like an electtical short or defective on/off switch.

The fabric is not a replaceable item, according to black & decker. Only good thing about it is it’s cordless and lightweight and not messy. Its infuriating.

It drains very little power during use and lasts a long time.

I would have given the sander 5/5 but its battery life is horrible and, the charging time is even worse.

Competitiveness

Also, black& decker makes a good product and your batteries are interchangeable with any of their cordless products.

There is another b&d sander available but i highly recommend this one over the other cordless model.
