Pros & Cons
Cons
It has been used lightly and infrequently. Soon it becomes unusable. Looks cheaply made. What a piece of junk.
Parents should beware of the possible choking hazard. At the bottom is the smashed veggie and the at the top is the uncut vegetable.
There is no deflector on the trailing edge of these blades to kick food upward. I hate the little space where the rotor connects to the blades. The blade is too wide for the container and it floats instead of being grounded like the older model.
Highlights
Quality
It is very sturdy and chops well
One of the best purchases i have ever made.
The first version (white mechanism) was purchased probably 10 years ago - the plastic notches that hold the blade finally disintegrated.
Food gets stuck to the top, and you can't wash it because the top piece houses the motor.
Price
Works great and for the price you cant beat it.
A great little chopper that saves me time at a reasonable price!
I bought this chopper at big lots in connecticut for $17.
Packaging/appearance
I bought it used, but it looked new and was in perfect condition.
