The chargers that come with the tools are no good i was about ready to get rid of the black and decker series because it was a fifty fifty shot on wether the battery would be charged or not

This charger is a maintianence style charger it will tell you if the battery is any good and you can leave the battery on it for as long as you like and know it will be charged and ok
