Pros

The seller, the medical supplies store, gets a 10 from me for their outstanding customer service! Great product and easy to use. Looks good with my stainless steel appliances. I hope it lasts as long as the other one did.

Black & decker lids off jar open is a great way to open most jars. It also comes in handy to reopen jars that have been in the refrigerator. This unit is much more substantial and engineered for heavy duty work.

Her arthritis has calmed down now that she isn't stressing those joints so much. Recommed highly for someone with arthritis.

Cons

It works fine on pint jars but the ajustable holders do not open wideenough to accomodate quarts and gallon jars. Poorly designed. This lid opener works but is hard to use.

It is an excellent product - i don't know why i didn't get it sooner.

They're just glued on, so they peel right off with the first recalcitrant jar lid.

You can whack the lid with the side of a knife, try to use on of those jar openers that look like pliers yet they won't open wide enough.

Price

I highly recommend this, it is well worth the price if you need more than a little help.

The price was closer to $55 than some models that are over $100.
