I bought mine 7 years ago and was so happy with the results after using it that i bought my daughter in law one.

Since i didn't want to use it in water with the insides exposed i just use it without submersing it and use my new one into the water.

It is less than a 1lb with the batteries and pad installed.

The scouring pads that come with the unit are not able to hold up very long and tend to shred.
