Pros

Once plugged in, it works great for the price. It is light (i'm 68), but it is so powerful for me that it cuts down on the maneuverability. It’s lightweight and very powerful.

Cons

The weedeater is a joke. A new spool lasts minutes.

Work great but stopped working after a year and 3 months

Price

It is the best so far for the price ($50).

Good price and a lot less expensive than battery powered trimmers.

I bought this thinking it might be a piece of junk because of the price.

No added expenses for gas or other fluids with corded either.

Shipping

Don't know if the spool shipped with the trimmer was faulty or loaded with less line.

Packaging/appearance

Inside box was an original box that was scraped and severely damaged.

Product came in amazon box, repacked, i did not ask for thar service.

Competitiveness

Black & decker makes diy projects less of a hassle than other tools i have tried yard tools that need gas or charged batteries.

We have purchased several weed trimmers and this one is better than any others.
