The pushbutton of the abnormal stick was locked inside the stick. And it isn't like i'm a big guy (i'm 5'10 and 160lbs) or was using them inappropriately.

They work fine but are definitely not as sturday as the old twopiece aluminum poles

You can feel them move around if you press hard on them and move them from sidetoside

The material on the handles is greatabsorbs sweat and is very grippy

Like others have said only two sections of the poles connect so they dont stay in one piece when folded

Im taking away one star since the poles come with very small baskets that are almost useless in snow and the larger snow baskets are unavailable from every outdoor store i contacted and from the bd website itself

You cant use any other snow baskets since the poles dont come apart
