Pros

They deploy rapidly and are very sturdy. The rubber tips give great traction. They are durable for carbon, crazy durable, but why risk it?

The small basket on the poles in perfect in the sandy and leaf covered trails in north fla. They are easy and quick to extend and lock into position and seem light weight, however these are my first poles.

Price wise at amazon is very good. Definitely worth every penny. It delivers on all promises including customer support.

Black diamond zs are super light and compact when folded. They collapse smaller than others, and fit into a ruck sack better than others. It's easy to fold & unfold. Difficult to collapse for putting in a suitcase or backpack.

Cons

Used 10+ times and this season when i took them out, the top piece on both poles is jammed up. Durability seems to be the problem as now they are rendered useless. Only received 1 pole.

I am very happy with this product, and they look cool also.

Two little screw things came in the packet with the directions.

They were the more common telescoping type with the flip locks.

Look no further (unless you can afford the near-double price carbon ones lol)!
