If you need to light up a large cavern in a cave or blind someone this lamp is not for you

But for backpacking emergency lighting to keep in your vehicle or just to have around the house for when the lights go out all wo spending a fortune the spot lite is the one for you

The battery life is significantly shorter than 160 lumen but thats not a big deal with a charger and lots of aaa batteries
