Pros

Long battery life on low settings. Great amount of light but the batteries drain pretty fast. Have always recommended them to a lot of electricians.

New model has better head strap adjustment and now multicolor led's. Dimmable on all modes, rgb is bright enought to navigate (clearly see the ground) on a moonless night.

Cons

The batteries are loose enough in their housing that the jostling from hiking/walking is enough to sever the electrical current. This only seems to happen when using the white light and pressing the max illumination button on the side. Pressing this b... Read More

My biggest disappointment is the lack of brightness. It lights up your immediate vicinity pretty well but nothing in the distance. The device has a faulty power indicator light and does not give you accurate readings.
