Pros & Cons
Pros
Gloves are incredibly warm, even on the coldest days. Cuffs come up and over your jacket sleeve to keep the snow out. The liner is removable to aid in drying. Great for skiing all day in temps below10f.
They are, however, still awesome gloves with tons of features that are very nice. These gloves aren't as dexterous as some but they aren't meant to be.
The fit is exactly perfect. The large feels snug as well. Strongly recommend sizing up at least one dive. Med in or baker mitts run big.
Can't wait to really use these. Seller is very helpful and responsive. Pricy, but worth it.
Cons
Black diamond advertises someone who claims to have climbed denali with these gloves. As for warmth, despite all the reviews and the claims, they are no warmer than my alternate gloves.
Stiffness cuts out blood circulation from extremities. Something as simple as pulling on a zipper becomes impossible.
Highlights
Quality
I've worn dakine and burton, and used to think their quality was tops.
These are quality gloves for people who don't want to mess around with lesser quality and disappointment.
Price
The price is worth it, if you need a really warm glove that will last many seasons.
The price is higher than other gloves you see that appear comparable, but you get quality that i can tell is going to last.
Competitiveness
I believe these are the best gloves on the market.
My second pair, unquestionably the best ski glove on the market.
There are other gloves on the market that make up that segment.
