I’m hoping the quality of it makes up for having to bring extra batteries for a trip longer than a couple nights.
I use the red light for hunting and i was disappointed with the lack of brightness.
Price
Good price, lots of features, and long battery life.
Competitiveness
It has a ton of features packed into it for the price.
Way more than i expected and a great value.
I honestly don't think it is worth $35 dollars but there isn't really much competition for the features that the lamp has.
A 3-year warranty ain't too shabby either, though a 5-year one would have been better.

My wife needs the light to help in dealing with small print could not figure out to put the batteries in so i watched the video and rewatched and eventually get luck and caught how you open its i could be the batteries in

This is a really good light and a great value but it is pretty complicated to use

I will say the build quality feels slightly cheaply than petzl the tilt adjustment makes that loud cheap clicking sound that you would hear on a far cheaper headlamp

The down side is the controls are confusing

On off and high low are simple but all the other modes are confusing

After you turn the light off it comes back on in the same mode it is switched back on
