I use the red light for hunting and i was disappointed with the lack of brightness.
So i don't mind paying top dollar for a high quality headlamp.
Price
Good price, lots of features, and long battery life.
Competitiveness
It has a ton of features packed into it for the price.
Way more than i expected and a great value.
I honestly don't think it is worth $35 dollars but there isn't really much competition for the features that the lamp has.
A 3-year warranty ain't too shabby either, though a 5-year one would have been better.

My wife needs the light to help in dealing with small print could not figure out to put the batteries in so i watched the video and rewatched and eventually get luck and caught how you open its i could be the batteries in

The many different functions are a bit confusing and the instruction sheet was folded up to the size of a sugar packet with equally tiny print

Because its so light it didnt bob up and down on my head

The battery feature works fine though at night the blue indicator light was an obnoxious hue
