The brightness of the red led lights combined with the ability to vary the pattern of the three lights flashing is awesome.

Be sure to remove the tab from the battery pack before first use otherwise it only works when plugged in to the usb charger

As someone has already mentioned if you simply unbox your sprinter and plug it in to charge it you will see one of the blue lights continue to flash
