Pros

It is very durable and came quicker than expected. It's heavier than the one i got at a big box store. Thick and durable and shows no sign of stress after 25+ fires.

Not a deal breaker for me because this thing is solidly built. Lifts the logs so that air can circulate.

Cons

Appears sturdy but black coating peeled after first use. The product is nice and easy to assemble, however the coating is chipped off in multiple places.

The core issue is with functionality/design, and this grate fails miserably. The width of the crossbars allows for the coals to drop right through to the floor of your fireplace. The product, where the wood logs lay, is not wide enough for 2 logs. Fir... Read More
