Pros

Lifts the logs so that air can circulate. Each rung is thick.

Creat craftsmanship on the build. Needless to say, it’s heavy, and will last for years- i’m thinking more than 20 years since the thin grate lasted that long. It's super heavy and durable.

This item is a disgrace. It is too high and doesn't allow the bed of coals to keep the wood burning. They provide dimensions accurately in the product description, but they do not provide the dimension of the basket where the wood sits. Disappointing ... Read More

The core issue is with functionality/design. This grate fails miserably. Firewood falls off easily if you stack to 3 or more logs.
