Pros

It is inexpensive, easy to use and gives you the confidence you need when soldering your first projects. Easy to use, comfortable, and it works like a charm.

Cons

The first unit is difficult to ignite. The second unit is a lot harder to ignite too. The igniter can be turned by accident shifting the flimsy plastic spark path tube from the ignition to the butane. The controls and * to light the torch feel flimsy.... Read More

Although the valve has about 90 degrees available for adjustment, it goes from 0 to full blast maybe 15 degrees. Releasing the button does not stop the flow of butane. This thing is a piece of junk.
