Pros
Flame locking lever seems locked in place and doesn't slide back and forth as expected. Adjustable flame switch is also easy to use. Spray a few shots into the burner.
This blazer torch works terrific and lives upto its reputation. Great little reliable gadget.
My oldest one is about 3 yrs old and still works like the day i got it. The other two are excellent performers. The best part of this product is it comes with a one year warranty.
Cons
I now have a useless torch that is not returnable. Stop working after refilling twice using quality butane vector 14x filtered. About 9 times ten it will torch, and never torch ignites on demand.
The designer of this lighter had no experience working with piezoelectrics and didn't even bother looking up their fatigue dynamics. I hate this lighter with every ounce of being that i contain and everything it stands for.
It was always plagued by poor workmanship and a limited lifetime. Refused to light. It gets worse and worse as far as flicks to get it to light.

I am very satisfied with my torch lighter.
It was not made clear in the product description on amazon that gas was not included with the purchase of the lighter.
The minimal instructions provided with the torch don't explain why the locking lever might jam or whether there is a trick to make it work.
Price
Some might question why a plastic lighter costs $50; because it's worth it!
I wouldn't mind as much if it was half the price, but for this price, i expected it to last years.

99 but comes in original packaging and base, that was supposed to come on my order according to this sellers description.
If it doesn't, contact theblazer company listed in the enclosedbrochure.

This would be a fivestar lighter except for two flaws the childprotection mechanism which is not mentioned in the description and makes it quite annoying to operate but can be permanently defeated by breaking a piece of plastic

I had one previously and it worked flawlessly until i dropped in on concrete one day
