The entire shaker (including ball) is dishwasher safe. It's soooo easy to clean - especially by popping out the seal so there won't be any hidden stuck-on disgusting sludgy gunk.

I like how the top unscrews so that you can fit wide stuff in it. I love the top screw-on stopper. Only downside is the lid can sometimes be impossible to get off to clean.

As for the shattered reviews. Might be gifting these to a few friends in the future. Moreover, this shaker is quiet! Update 8.

The lid spills way too much. Since it leaks, the contents end up under the silicone. The rubber gaskets inside the lid over time develop black marks and rings that i think are mold and they can't be cleaned off.

The way that this goes everywhere is absurd, completely not what i purchased it for. Will be returning. Will return asap.

Much to my dismay, it leaks so much it seeps through the towel. It leaks terribly when you shake it. This is my third shaker bottle in a row that leaks, i think i will go back to the old fashioned stirring spoon.
