You have to pick hard to close the lid

Previously i used a set of shaker bottles from a different brand with screwon tops and a solid blender ball but they started to leak after several years

Its also very difficult to open it onehanded

When i first purchased some of these bottles one of them had the gasket in the lid not quite on right and so it leaked a bit at the lidbottle boundary not at the pushdown top

Sticking something in there to properly seat the gasket fixed this

This bottle is such a thick material it doesn’t change shape after the hot temps of the dishwasher
