It even grinds poppy seeds for ethnic baked goods which other blenders could not do

The reason for this is because the vase does not come with a close on seal lid only the stirring lid as shown on the picture

Must confess that i use it more than any other jarthis little wonder chops my herbsveggiesand blends my nut pattes to perfectionbeing a singleperson householdalthough with many guests to entertaini find this new gadget indispensableespecially since being mainly vegetarianit works much better for blending small quantities than the other jarsthe only surprise i hadwas when overfilling the jar with liquid to clean itthe water spluttered all overbutas the manufacturer statesthe mini twisterjar is not designed for thin liquids
