After using this device for a few weeks, here's my take on its features and functionality. We use both inside & and the set up & app is so easy. At the end, that software connects to a server and a human does have access to it.
Cons
One camera constantly fogs at night so nothing is visible properly when it does motion trigger. This defeats the purpose of being wireless, and removed the water resistance of the device. This outdoor camera leaks in the rain.
The app is very simplistic to use for anyone who are familiar with smart home applications on their mobile devices. The network connectivity issue is poor to practically non-existent at times. The sync module range is horrible.

I purchased this during a great sale.
I'm only giving these four stars because of the retail price.
Not sure if i can afford to keep changing out the "non-cheap" lithium batteries!
With the money, sound could be better and live viewing could be longer

This is a physically different camera if youre using 3rd party surround mounts for blink 3 a b4 camera will not fit
