Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very effective security doorbell and i like the option of wiring it into the existing doorbell circuit in our home. It has motion sensor so it does send a notification on our mobile devices whenever someone is at our door. The night vision c... Read More
Cons
The clarity, the recording, the distance viewing and interface of the app is not near as good as the ring. Almost seems like they make their app slow so you subscribe.
The signal strength is low therefore, the sync module keeps disconnecting. It always stays on a loading screen and never shows me the live feed. The live feed only seems to work, although it's extremely slow to connect, when there is no doorbell trigg... Read More
The batteries die after 2 days. Not bothering replacing the batteries anymore. It never loads.
It continuously stops recording my clips. Because it falls off the picture in now blurred. No clips on local storage. Also the clips stored seem to be random.
I asked them about what setting? Then started getting issues. I contacted blink. No response for days.

Would recommend for someone who just wants to see who is at the door or watch to make sure packages are safe.
Competitiveness
I replaced the old memory stick with the blink branded one (it was about the same price for 64gb as sandisk, lexar, etc.
If you do want cloud storage, then the blink is also, i believe, better priced than its competition.
I found its performance similar to the blink in terms of speed.
