Pros

This stuff is wonderful. An absolute miracle. Very pleased with this silver polish.

Used this on my wife’s silver jewelry. My silver is tarnish free and gleams after using this. As for the bracelet, it has lots of curlicues and furrows.

It really cleans and polishes beautifully. I find this helps if there is a little sepia left around the edges after cleaning with a sponge.

Great at removing tarnish, with minimal deterioration. Leaves a very nice shine as well as polishing away the tarnish. Works but it takes a lot of work effort to get stubborn tarnish off. It appears to work faster than wright's, needs less rubbing to ...  Read More

Cons

It is extremely thick, and it does not remove much tarnish. Honestly, toothpaste works just as good. It is more difficult and less successful than a paste brand.

Quality

Easy to use and was very effective renewing my silver candlesticks.

Easy to use, works beautifully on 925.

And the dip cleaner, so toxic i'm not even supposed to pour it down my sink, is out of my life forever.

The polish is applied with a soft cloth or sponge in a circular motion, then rinse with water.

Price

Blitz works well; it is non-toxic, inexpensive, and contains a mild tarnish retardant, so i am pleased with it.

But the price is great, especially contrasted with what i paid for the jewelry.

Packaging/appearance

We were given some family silver, which included two large tea pots, serving tray, as well as sugar and cream servers.

You may not get it all, but the darker lines look great, so i didn't push it.

Competitiveness

Blitz keeps the pieces tarnish free and looking shiny for much longer than other brands i’ve found.

However, i had just tried another liquid brand that actually ate my sterling earrings (dangerous chemicals).

I've always used wright's silver polish, since it was easy to find in local stores.
