Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

These ramps work well to elevate the car and keep it up there while you're underneath it. They are not very wide, so it's best to line them up again right before the tires touch. They gave me sufficient clearance to access the oil drain plug and filte...  Read More

Lighter and therefore easier to move around than metal lifts. Since they're made of plastic, storing them outside is not a problem, as the rain won't cause them to rust. These ramps come in a very big box but were shipped free with amazon's super save...  Read More

I also use them in my concrete garage and have had no trouble with slippage. I have no qualms with sliding under my car when they're on these ramps. No slipping on a concrete garage floor with my camry.

Best part is that it does not scrape against the bottom of the car when driving up the ramps. Much simpler than having to get the car up on jacks or blocks. The miata is rear wheel drive.

Cons

Really good and steady ramps, more than enough room below

Without those rubber feet on the ramp to keep it from moving, these things will fire out from the tire like a missile.

Forget using these if there's anything slick on the floor, though: sand, water, oil, etc.

Price

They've saved my a lot of money and i feel a lot safer using these than jack stands.

Way cheaper than the auto parts houses.
