Pros

Stepped on uneven nyc sidewalk and snapped my ankle tendon. Daughter is a competitive dancer who had a bad sprain and growth plate injury.

The velcro is the strongest velcro i have ever experienced. They wrap with enough adjustability as to avoid rubbing on ankle knobs.

Straps are good length to criss cross. Also great color choices for the pink. I plan to get a second one tho. The fun colors add a cheerful touch to an essential item for my weak ankle.

Woke up sobbing in pain. It ends up hooking to the the ankle sleeve itself and then you get those little runs on sleeve.

Cons

The sleeve itself is way too loose based on the sizing chart. The straps' velcro is so sticky that if it touches anything, it's stuck there. The sleeve lacks firm support and the straps are inconveniently sewn in.

The product i got instead has no straps at all. The explanation of the x protection is not the same as actually having the straps. It seems that this wording was intentional to mislead.

This brace eases the pain and makes it easier to walk.

She spent a 5 weeks in a lace up boot with metal plates and x straps before switching to this with her physical therapist’s approval.

These work great, but the velcro is hard to get open and it seems to snag the fabric each time.
