What i like best is the plaid material in the lining and matching hood.
The pockets are deep and have an overhang with snap to keep the contents dry and secure.

I typically wear a size 14 and will order up a size however the xl is very voluminous and i probably should have gone with the large

The drawstring hood can be detached if wished it’s attached by a zipper but if you remove the hood the view of the nicely contrasting lined won’t be seen so i’ll be leaving my hood on

To nitpick just a little i wish the front zipper had been of the same type used to attach the hood

I also prefer pocket flaps such as the side pockets on this jacket to be facing to the back since it makes it easier to unfasten and slide ones hands in

There is an inside drawstring which is great for getting a better fit but it would have been an even better design if there had been adjustable stoppers added to the ends of the drawstrings

If you tend to use the drawstrings a lot it is a bit of a pain to have to tieuntie them with every use
