The longer length helps keep the wind out , rain doesn’t seep through and the draw string waist helps with the fit.
I bought the olive green, it's a good color, the fabric is soft and we will soon know how water repellant it is.
Functionality was just fine, it doesn't "breathe" so if you are doing a fast paced anything you are likely to build up a sweat.

I loved that i could get this overnight, that was a big deciding factor in my purchase as this trip came about quickly.
I bought another rain jacket that won't arrive till march 9th (from another company on amazon) so this one is going to have to be my go to.

Lets get to the helpful info i bought a large i typically wear a medium or large in a jacket in this case i wanted enough room for a heavy sweater or hoodie

There are cinchish strings inside they would be better if they had 34stops34 on them to cinch and leave alone
