I installed the new resistor and it has been working well for the past several weeks.
Plugged it in and my ac works flawless now.
After removing the old resistor, i tested it with a multimeter for resistance and it was greatly diminished.
The resistor was behind a corner piece of ductwork that was attached with three screws.

And after changing the expansion valve resealing the whole system the ac still did not work

And recirculation light would not stay on and would automatically turn off

I was advised to replace the oem resistor and blower motor with new parts for my 2013 honda crv ex as the blower speed diminished recently during a long trip

Honda has discontinued carrying these parts so i purchased this resistor and a compatible blower motor from amazon
