G wifi or app is the only downside. App tells you when to change the filter and the status of the air in our home, so we know when to purify. It’s helping reduce my congestion which was the main reason for the purchase.

The hepa filtration system effectively captures dust, allergens, and most importantly dog hair. There has been a noticeable difference in the air quality in our house. Our merv 11 hvac filters are doing a great job.

Then it springs to life when needed. I think that’s why the main filter lasts as long as it does.

Each of the 4 preset speeds is generally quiet. I has a night feature that turns down the fan to almost noiseless. These are the quietest air purifiers i have ever purchased.

The biggest downside is that my electric bill for 3 days of using the power 3 for 3-4 hours comes to over $20 more than usual. Lots of bells andamp; lights & whistles but really an overpriced piece of junk. I fully regret purchasing this.

Blueair air purifier has a loud hum noise that increases with fan speed. On lvl 3 the fan interferes with the case and so in addition makes a high frequency clicking sound. At higher levels, it is unbearably loud.
