Durability

Despite the manufacturer's claim of an eight-year warranty, customers have reported numerous issues with the durability of this pool cover, with many experiencing tears and holes after only a few months of use. Some customers were able to use the cover for a year or more but a significant number had their covers fail within weeks or even days of installation. The cover's inability to withstand wind and weather conditions was also frequently mentioned as a problem.

Leakage

Customers have reported numerous issues with leakage on their Blue Wave Bronze 8-Year 18-ft x 34-ft Oval Above Ground Pool Winter Cover, resulting in significant water loss and the need for costly repairs or replacement. Some customers mentioned that the cover had holes, tears, and seemed to be rotten upon arrival. Others noted that it did not effectively prevent debris from entering the pool.
