For elderly swimmers the hand rail is very sturdy and makes getting out of our pool easily and safely.

It would have been nice to know about the holes toward the bottom of the handrail upfront as i might have bought a different anchoring system than the two 6 inch saffrons

This handrail has to have holes drilled in the concrete deck we did this when we were refinishing the deck so no extra repairing was needed the concrete around the hole can get surface cracks from the drilling so if you are redoing your deck you dont have to worry about retouching up the textured area should order the swimline ne1247 stainless steel escutcheons plates fit around the bottom of the 2 railings very professional looking

The way this handrail is designed you will not have any part of it touching the water it jets out over the step area but does not get near the water very nice that was a concern of mine

If i had to do it again id get the version that have the front and back rails connectedwelded together
