Pros & Cons
Pros
It completely covers the pool and then some, being about 8 to 1' extra in diameter. I hope to find one that is rectangular for our new pool.
It seems well put together, though it's def different feeling than my previous one. The bubbles are larger, but less airy, though not as easily popped. It warms the water faster than the expensive blue ones with the fancy metallic undersides.
This is only my second solar cover and my first was an 8 mil. You want that good suction seal when you live somewhere that can get quite windy. Those drainage holes also make it easier to maneuver the cover and keep it from accumulating water on top.
Cons
This cover is thicker than the old blue one, and it does seem to prevent temperature drops at night, but it was absolutely useless for actually warming up the water. It is so bad that the shedding bubbles are plugging my pool filter. There is over a 6... Read More
It's almost as if whatever they use to glue the seams together isn't very waterproof. The entire seam is now unglued making the cover unusable. Didn't keep the leaves out.
Amazon boasts about the warranty but will not do anything to rectify the situation. It is only a 3 year guarantee that is prorated. They will not refund your money but will send you a new blanket replacement.

Highlights
Quality
I live in a hot dry region so when the weather reaches a good and toasty temperature this product works really well
Other than than the quality and packaging very good
If you have a little water on top of it along with the natural suction of the water beneath that will be enough to hold it in place
Competitiveness
Have had 4 of these from different brands

At first it seemed to only jump the water temp about 45 degrees which is a lot less than promised on the product description and as described by some other reviews

However what it does do is help hold the temp overnight and easily keeps debris out of the water

I did follow the advice of another reviewer to buy big clamps to hold it onto the edge of the pool at least around the area where the pump shoots water back into the pool

It will tear easily so you have to treat it carefully
