Pros & Cons
Pros
Air purifier works well in my bedroom. App and the air purifier remain connected through the dual-band eero network. Only thing i would change is the monitoring app. Seeing the reduction in dust is real.
Eero instructs you that if your device isn’t connecting, then tap the button to “temporarily pause 5ghz”. Ghz band on it's own and your cell phone also must be connected. I used my iphone and netgear orbi router.
See screenshots of the default outdoor focus, and the modal for indoor. Opening the collapsed indoor pill opens a modal overlay or modal drawer that slides up from the bottom. In the indoor modal, it also shows me details from the device’s sensors.
Cons
Air purifier advertises on the box that it is wifi enabled. The app fails to communicate with the machine. There doesn't seem to be any way to permanently toggle off wifi. Who even needs wi-fi on an air purifier?
After power-cycling the air purifier, the readout drops to zero. It's really noisy, coupled with only 3 levels of fan speeds. High is very loud, but is unnecessary in my application.
Hepasilent filters are not hepa. I hope i can receive some filters that will make it usable.
I contacted customer support via the company web page (apparently this is the only way to reach them) and got the auto reply that they would get back to me asap. Now they want to know if i want to exchange it.

On my end, i really couldn't get over the lack of features and clumsy design language, so i sent it back for the blueair health... Read More
