-the battery automatically turns on when it receives solar powercons (this is what i want to be improved and most of it can be done through firmware updates)- there is no data logging so you can't analyse your generation and power use- the battery uses a lot of juice on standby mode ~1% per hour so you will lose 10% overnight- the battery does not automatically turn off when not in use so if you just leave it plugged into solar you'll lose about 10% every night which on a very cloudy day is most of what it gains- i never got the full potential out of my solar panels not even on the brightest of days, i don't know if this is the panel's fault or if the solar charger component is cheap.  Read Less
