The product arrived within the time forecast, well packed and all complete.
I shipped the defective unit back and had a new replacement unit in just over a week.
====update feb 11, 2023: as it turns out the unit got shipped with an old warranty card that had a wrong support email.
I got immediate response via amazon channel and got the cable.
