Pros & Cons
Pros
This thing is a beast! Works perfect. It looks great. That's pretty impressive.
The ac200max with two batteries is large enough to run a van fridge, an inverter cooktop stove and some led lights for about a week without charging. It fits into the space created for an outdoor min-fridge at the back of my tt. This unit will be used... Read More
It's actually fun learning how to conserve energy and get the most out of the technology. Even powers my small microwave and electric coffee percolator. And even my tv stand that is those fireplace space heaters too!
Bluetti ac200max is priced competitively when the rebate is applied. The fact that it's expandable is a big plus. Then the battery depletes a little, but still has more battery life.
Cons
Buyer it's a $2,000 gamble whether you get a verrrrry heavy paperweight in the mail, plus a big hole in your wallet! All you get is a full vm.
Highlights
Quality
The ac200 max unit build quality is great.
That said, we are impressed with the ac200max for so many reasons.
They then agreed to exchange the product.
I had ordered the solar panels with the unit hower the panels did not attive together with the system.
Price
Try to get the price adjustment, no luck.
The price drop $200 after i 1 week bought it.
I figure the cost is about 30% of what a component solar power unit would cost.
Shipping
Amazon can ask the return label from bluetti, but i have to pay the shipping.
Right now i am in the return shipping phase and i will update when the new unit arrives.
My biggest complaint comes with the shipping of the product.
Packaging/appearance
Was a notch up from a previous purchase which wouldn't run the pump.
I got it out of the packaging and pressed the power button.
While the 200p is plugged into the 200max.
Competitiveness
The app is nice and the ui is easy to use, much better than competitors, who are way behind in that department.
- i have created a xt90 cable to connect to the "load" terminals of my victron mppt 75/15 solar charger.
I checked out one of the competitors, ecoflow, but felt this is a better option and still believe that to be the case.
I generally just charge with my 6 100w renogy solar panels.
