Pros & Cons
Pros
Bluetti pv120 is probably the nicest solar panel i have ordered although also the most expensive. Series wiring is the best in most instances, but not always. Comes with mc4connector to make it more widely compatible with other solar generators.
Combined weighs 45lbs. The weight keeps it from tumbling into the next county over.
It's a great portable panel, if you need it only to boost your power system. Your bms is trickle charging the top end of your batteries and preventing damage to them.
It unfolds into four panels, so it can absorb plenty of sunlight. We have it secured under an overhang for protection and tilted toward rising sun.
Smaller 150w panel setup is almost backpack-able using lashing. Works as advertised and draws in decent wattage even when it's overcast.
Cons
Bluetti eb70s solar generator is a huge failure. When plugged the solar panel up to the generator to charge it up, the generator showed at first the charging input of 77 watts, then for the next several minutes, it showed a steady decline in the charg... Read More
The handles on these panels are extremely cheap *. The plastic used is not rated to handle the load of the weight.
Highlights
Quality
I've had this for a week or so now and have gotten familiarized with the product.
Second, the quality of the panel is solid.
Dewy grass is probably fine, but there is a fabric case to this product.
Here are some up close photos of the actual product, since the manufacturer doesn’t know how to take pictures of their product.
Price
Overall i'm happy although i had to pay the price.
Packaging/appearance
Have been experimenting with using mylar coated packaging to reflect photons falling on other parts of the yard into the panels.
One entire panel is left dangling in the breeze to be supported by its neighbors.
Competitiveness
I've been searching for portable panels that can be used for overlanding trips and home emergencies.
Not the least expensive, but certainly a reasonable value.
I returned it and bought the allpowers 200 mono panel and received 152 watts, but almost half the cost.
I have two of these bluetti 200w solar panels.
